You used to be able to get prints made from your slides by taking them to the "drug store" and they would ship them off to a film processor laboratory. The processor would make an "Internegative" from the original slide and then make the prints from the internegative. The Internegative is a negative made on special color film designed for making print copies from color slides. Kodak, unfortunately, stopped making its internegative films, and processing labs are dropping the service due to lack of demand. Internegative printing is on the way out, unless you can find a laboratory that still has the film.
